What’s in the bag?

After hundreds of sessions, I’ve gathered a few “emergency items” to have on hand at the shoot.

BUG SPRAY – I attract every mosquito in a 10-mile radius

SNACKS – I eat every 10 mins

WATER – tons of it

BABY WIPES – for horse snot/slobber or makeup smudges on clothes, etc

TOWELS – for horse snot/slobber

BLACK LEAD ROPE – I like to have one on hand in case my client doesn’t have one

ROPE HALTER – to take “naked” images of horses without them naked

HOLE PUNCHER – randomly needed for tack and belts!

HORSE BRUSH – a very soft one to get the last touch of dust off

HAIR SPRAY – to tame any fly-aways!

HORSE TREATS – tons of these!!

PAINKILLERS – I get a lot of headaches

LENS WIPES – my favorite one is here.

EXTRA BATTERIES + MEMORY CARDS – I keep some in my ThinkTank camera bag and some in my photoshoot bag.

EXTRA CAMERA + LENS – I’ve had my main equipment fail on my mid-session!

FLY SPRAY – be careful with this and get permission first. I don’t want to be the reason for an allergic reaction
