I had the honor to join Crysta Brown on her podcast, Horse Show Bestie, to talk all things horses, cameras, and how to make the most of your session!

One of my favorite parts of it was being able to talk through how to get the most out of your session from the client’s point of view by explaining the “why” behind your session to your photographer. Everything from color choices, confidence in what you’re wearing, preparing your horse, and the setting plays into how your photos turn out!

I break down how to get good photos using just your iPhone. Paying attention to light sources, the angle, and even cleaning your camera lens.

We got personal, diving into my history of riding across different disciplines, the challenges that come with marketing yourself to multiple audiences, and why versatility has become one of my biggest strengths both behind the camera and in the saddle.
